The Heartland Campus Safety Summit is a regional and affordable conference for college and university administrators, faculty, staff, and students interested in improving their campus efforts to prevent and respond to sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. The 2026 Heartland Campus Safety Summit is scheduled for November 18-19 at the University of Kansas.The Summit is designed for key college personnel from the states of Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Those invited include: Title IX coordinators, college/university legal representatives, campus and public safety officers, residential life and student affairs personnel, athletic directors, women’s center staff, student leaders, health and counseling professionals, and other campus and community representatives interested in campus safety.

CANCELLATION POLICY: A $15 administrative fee will be assessed for all cancellations. Cancellation requests 1-5 business days before the summit will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be made the date the summit starts or afterwards. Transferability can be retained up through the opening session of the summit at no charge.
The sponsors reserve the right to cancel all programs and return all fees in the event of insufficient registration. The liability of the sponsors is limited to the original Summit fees.
This session will explore how Title IX, student conduct, and behavioral interventionintersect in campus response. Participants will examine opportunities for collaboration,information sharing, referrals, and case coordination while maintaining clear roles andresponsibilities. Through practical examples, the session will highlight strategies forreducing silos and creating a more coordinated approach to student support, safety, andinstitutional response.
